terms of services

Aquin Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use Aquin for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to your plan and the Software License.

The Services include the Aquin CLI for mechanistic interpretability and model analysis on your own GPU; optional sync of command outputs to your web CLI inbox; the web dashboard for sessions, interactive cards, and analyst chat; and any paid features described at aquin.app.

The CLI runs locally on your machine. Aquin Labs is not a hosted GPU service. Forward passes, inspections, simulations, evals, and related compute run on your hardware unless you separately engage Aquin Labs for consulting or other services.

When you reference a public Hugging Face model, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with that model's license. Aquin Labs makes no warranties about third-party model performance or fitness for purpose.

You retain all rights to your models, datasets, inspection outputs, edit snapshots, and any other content you create or upload through Aquin. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of everything you process with the Services.

The CLI stores local records on your machine (for example under ~/.aquin/). When you are logged in, command outputs may be uploaded to your web inbox unless you disable sync. You grant Aquin Labs the right to use your data solely to operate the Services, store files on your behalf when you choose to sync them, provide support when requested, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your models or session data to train Aquin Labs systems, for advertising, or for profiling. See our Privacy Policy for details on collection, retention, and deletion.

You may not use Aquin to inspect, train, edit, or deploy models intended to generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or deceptive content; process data you do not have the rights to use; violate any base model's license terms; upload malware or malicious content; share API keys or CLI tokens with unauthorized parties; attempt unauthorized access to other users' data or platform infrastructure; or resell or sublicense access to the Services.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your credentials and CLI tokens, validating model outputs before deployment, complying with applicable AI and data protection regulations, and maintaining your own backups of models and data.

Model outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for validating, monitoring, and governing the use of any model you analyze or modify through Aquin. Do not rely solely on model outputs for critical or legally consequential decisions.

Aquin Labs may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice. To report misuse, contact aquin@aquin.app.

Some features require a paid subscription or commercial license. Current pricing is published at aquin.app. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Aquin Labs does not collect or store your payment credentials. By making a purchase, you agree to Dodo Payments' terms.

All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at Aquin Labs' sole discretion. Aquin Labs may modify pricing with reasonable prior notice. Access may be suspended for accounts with lapsed or failed subscription payments.

Each party warrants it has full authority to enter into this Agreement.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AQUIN LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT INSPECTION RESULTS, EDIT OUTCOMES, OR MODEL OUTPUTS.

This Agreement begins when you first access the Services and continues until terminated. Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' written notice. Aquin Labs may immediately suspend or terminate access for violations of Section 3.

Upon termination, your access to paid features and cloud-synced data ends as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for exporting anything you wish to retain before account closure. Local CLI data on your machine remains under your control.

NEITHER PARTY SHALL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. AQUIN LABS' TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aquin Labs against any claims arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of the Services, the content or legality of your data, your models and their outputs, or your violation of third-party rights including applicable model licenses.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Software License, and any applicable paid plan terms, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Aquin Labs regarding the Services.
